Holy Spirit (09)

Here the Holy Spirit is depicted as a radiant dove with wings outstretched, rising above the clouds with beams of divine light filling the sky. The imagery recalls Christ’s baptism in the Jordan, when the Spirit descended as a dove and the Father’s voice was heard: ‘This is my beloved Son’ (Matthew 3:17). This image can be used in catechesis on Baptism, the Trinity, and the indwelling presence of the Spirit. A wonderful activity for children learning about the sacraments and for families reflecting on Baptism.
