First Communion (27)

Jesus gives First Communion to a young boy wearing a suit, with a girl also ready to receive, in a grand church setting. Although it is the priest who physically gives Holy Communion, he does so in persona Christi — in the person of Christ — so it is truly Jesus giving Himself to the communicant. Use this coloring page to introduce children to the joy of receiving Jesus for the first time, and to highlight the special role of faith, prayer, and participation in the Mass.
